Greetings and salutations to all! Its been a long time since I was a newbie to a play-by-post website, so forgive me if I seem a bit slow/rusty to new forms of data entry.
My real name is Dave, but i usually go by my handle "Bishop" - the callsign of one of my first RPG characters (though I recognize any efforts to tie the name into the chess piece, the mutant, and the acquaintanced android of Lt. Ripley).
Looking forward to joining/playing/creeping on most games, with both recognition of fair play and the encouragement of imagination in the same swoop.
Experiences of Games: strong d20 base centered around D&D3.5 and Pathfinder (and most of its content) while sampling both AD&D and 4e in limited face-to-face fashion. Cortex and Savage Worlds familiar, with a handful of add-ons/modules for each, though actual gameplay has been limited to only a handful of campaigns. StarWars WEG/D6, BubbleGumCrisis (Fuzion), and Mechwarrior/BattleTech/AlphaStrike round out my other knowledgeable games, though the latter relies heavily on [tactical] miniatures combat.
Otherwise, I view myself as a fun-loving, easy going, creative writer who seeks to both inspire and be inspired by gameplay and other related artistry. Currently seeking a strong, stable GM/DM/Referee with an opening in their campaign to involve myself in without having to know terribly much about it (currently in a SWD game on another website, plus two-soon-to-be-one Pathfinder campaign on my originator board).
Not sure what else i should be sharing... but I guess that's what comments and replies are for. ...aaaaaaaaaaaaand here we go...
